Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding psychologist since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely credited with starting the modern science-based study of children's eyewitness memory and child victim witnesses within legal circumstances. Her publications are numerous She has also received a number of grants and has been the recipient of numerous awards international and national levels. She has consulted with numerous governments and agencies throughout the world on policies as well as research on child victims in the legal system. She is a consultant at the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of numerous professional organizations, such as those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and three Divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
