Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger) is an Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that she has recorded. Katy Perry's praise for her track Runaway in a blog post gave the artist some additional appreciation. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning money or for as a hobby. As a result, she began to write her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. After her mother said that the songs she composed could be used to not make her famous however, but to encourage people to see the importance of their work and influence in our world at large, she began playing them on stage. At age 6 she started playing the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. She claims that she likes to write songs. The music she writes is the way that she feels anything.
